Using my sketch draft as a guide, I began with a single thought and let it take me through my entire essay. I didn't look back to make changes while writing, but let my hands fly across the keys with wreckless abandon. I tried to use the relationship of sleep and writing as a frame for my essay. When I was finished, I read over what I'd written and put in some reflective comments where I was unsure of things.
